Re: HYB:Pink:out crosses

Betty,

My cross of IMMORTALITY x CLOUDIA yielded mostly whites but a few yellows appeared along with a single purple. No pinks seen.

My advice on breeding pinks was this: It takes to pinks to produce pink.
From personal experience, I've learned that pink and white produce yellow and
white with some bitones (in this case). (Paradise X Immortality) Should have
kept a couple. Very tall.

If I cross any color x pink, I will not get pink back.

If I cross two 1/2 pink seedlings, how many pinks could I expect to get in
the resulting seedlings?

Or 1/2 pink crossed to a pink?

Anyone have experience crossing pink to purple/black/brown/etc.? Are there
any colors that will produce a higher percentage of pink seedlings when
crossed back?

I have pink/red seedlings that were quite interesting. Gave lilac purple
and a golden copper. Pink seedling had lots of lace and I got lace on the
seedlings I saw bloom.

Anyone?
