Dear Dennis,
I don't know about "everyone", but I can't stand Martha
Stewart's condescending manner. She presents simple minded ideas as if
they were strokes of genius and then informs the audience that it's
"easy" when it's really hours of tedious or backbreaking work which an
army of assistants have done for her. In other words, she misrepresents
both the intellectual and physical qualities of what she presents.
I'll agree with you about her $ and with Joan Rivers who said, "Oh, but
Martha Stewart knows EVERYTHING."
Probably, Dahliaman, there's something of a gender bias here. My
husband isn't bothered by her either.
Cheerio, and Happy Gardening.
