Most of our small backyard is devoted to my husband's veggie garden and fruit trees, so there wasn't too much space left for non-edible items.... I started getting interested in iris last summer about the time we were having our yard put in,..The problem is that now I'm hooked. It's tough to figure out how many more plants I can squeeze into my limited space,

Dear Karen,
A word of advice from the voice of experience. Save yourself years of
frustration and $ in plants lost from shade, overcrowding and moving at
the wrong time of year.
Start looking for another house, with a great big yard right now,
BEFORE you build your iris collection, and have all that stuff
accumulated in your house to move. After all, the interest rates are
still pretty low!
