Walter,

Thought you'd like to know that Confederate Royalty is a guest in my
garden for next year's convention, "Rocky Mountain Date in '98.", and
was one of my favorites. It produced a lovely, tall stalk which was the
second to bloom and also one of the last, and it had more than one bloom
open at a time, sometimes, so it must have had lots of buds, even on a
first year plant.

Even better, it's a handsome bloom, and it's colors held up in our
Colorado sun.

Congratulations on a good one!
