hi mark: i have been reading your postings about iris that grows in
florida. i am currently growing iris pseudacorous iris versi-color
tall bearded and japanese iris. my japanese bloom very beautifully this
year. i even had some to rebloom about two weeks ago. yes it is very hot
and humid where is live but it is possible to grow iris here. i also
have the walking iris that grows in a tire. it is the yellow with the
small brown splotching in the middle. i live about 45 miles from
jacksonville fl. it is a small town called starke florida. we do have
some cold winters but most is mild. it does get into the 20's and 30's
but not for long. i hope this has helped your curosity...sincerely
