Fringe Tree: botanical name: HELP!

Hi, all.

I have a problem. (What else is new???)  Anyway,  Michael Cook, who is
on vacation and unsubscribed, told me about the "Fringe Tree" and,
since I am the assistant director of our church's vacation bible school,
I thought we could plant one on the final day.  (We HAVE to plant
something!)  AND...  (the plot thins)  The lady at the nursery hasn't
ever heard of a fringe tree.  She needs a BOTANICAL name,  and I am
swamped with other stuff.  Can someone please help TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!

PS~I need to know what we're planting NOW, so I can call the newspaper
so I can...etc,etc.
