Hi Nancy,
I don't know if it is required but the post office method is much faster
and cheaper when coming in this direction. Perhaps the rerouting which you
described accounts for the UPS delays.

We do it another way. We have them shipped via UPS to the UPS agent in
Oroville WA (at the border), just as if it were a domestic US shipment.
Then our custom broker picks them up clears customs and delivers them that
afternoon to us and we have the Ag. Can. inspection done at our place. This
is very fast and efficient but would be rather costly for a small order.

Enjoy the nice day in Molalla. Nice here also after record rains for this
normally arid area. Busy interfering with the sex life of my lilies these
days.
