>I doubt that it is safe to order anything from AIS yet since our last
>order from AIS is now 66 days without getting here yet!!!!!
Excuse me again for writing about this *but* I placed an order
on Feb. 18th and it looks like it fell into a big, black hole.
Where the devil is it? I am not cancelling my check since my
bank charges for this 'service'.
>And while I'm at it, our check from February's merchandise order (which
>we finally received in late-April) hasn't even cleared our bank yet (5
>months later)????? Makes for bookkeeping headaches.
I just called my bank and if AIS tries to cash my check after
Aug. 18th, they are out of luck. No bank honors a personal
check after 6 months. It may be slightly different for a
business - don't know. I do know it costs $20.00 to stop
payment on a check at my bank.
We are all in the same club...easy to get in - place an order.
>Hopefully someday this incredibly ridiculous situation will be
>resolved--but when and how long must we all wait and not order (isn't
>this costing AIS money)---is anyone from the AIS hierarchy listening
>(and if so, do they really even care any more??).........
I think some do care, unfortunately they have no power to make
Gifford cough up the checks and orders, IMO.
Where is the new solution that was touted after the convention?
Please some of you - *do not* write me and berate me for complain-
ing - after all, some of you 'are' getting your orders. Mr. Gifford
*does* send some orders out - he recognizes some names and out they
do get filled - just looks that way from my perspective. :(
Disappointed at the inertia and lack of leadership in AIS,
