Hey, folks, we may be mad as hell about the delay but I don't think any of
us want AIS to have to pay "stale check" fees on our six-month-plus checks
that the former storekeeper failed to cash. Does anybody know how to
address Ms. Pocklington? If so, may I suggest she be given a big vote of
appreciation, AND TOLD TO RETURN TO THE MAKER ANY CHECKS THAT ARE MORE THAN
ABOUT FIVE AND A HALF MONTHS OLD SO THAT THEY CAN BE REPLACED. I would
certainly be happy to send her a new check rather than go through any hassle
with the bank or AIS on the old one.
Please, anybody who knows her address, give her this message, or send me her
address and I'll write her. My check is dated February 27 and is beginning
to grow whiskers.
