Maybe the logjam is broken!

Quoted below is good news I received from Patrick L. Hayden Sr. by direct
e-mail (for which thank you, Patrick) this morning. On reading that the
former storekeeper claims to have filled all back orders, I was more than a
little skeptical, but a phone call to my bank's "push one for..." automated
system informed me that my February 27 check to AIS cleared the bank on
Bastille Day,. So while I have not yet received my $120 worth of
publications I am willing to believe they are enroute. Perhaps the crisis
is over.

>Edmund,
>I talked to Nancy after I read your e-mail on the Iris-L and she told me
that the gentleman that was the former storekeeper stated that he had caught
up with all past orders. We will just have to wait and see if everyone will
receive their orders. Nancy is involved with several iris clubs in Illinois
and Missouri. She is the President of our local group of which I am the
secretary. Their is no doubt in my mind that if anyone can get this part of
the AIS back on track it will be Nancy. Here is Nancy's address Irv & Nancy
Pocklington, 609 Harrington, Carlinville, IL 62626-1230. On Saturday I'm
heading up to Nancy's to give a hand figuring out what they have in
inventory. It sounds like they had several tons of books to go through. It
sounds like it may be a long day. If you need any more information just
e-mail me and I will see what I can do for you.
