I hope you aren't being facetious because I think that would be very fine,
indeed. I understand that purple and orange are considered vulgah together
by many folk with refined sensibilities, but the Japanese juxtapose them
splendidly and Nancy Goodwin in North Carolina--see Ken Druse's book "The
Collectors Garden" (?) has a summer garden built around this scheme that
sings! Then there are those splendido cannas---right, Starlord?
The persimmon tone of the winsome median OBLIGATO would be good. But you get
anything with all purple foliage and I'll love it. Foliage!!
