Everyone, I'm baaaaack!
To whoever got the moldy rhizomes from Schreiner's, I can sympathize.
Not even 1/2 of the irises I've ordered from them have bloomed. Never
again, when Sutton's (I finally made the order), Aitkens (do they send
post cards when they receive your order? It's been several
weeks...),Maryott's (which I FULLY INTEND to order from next year...),
Superstition (they're real nice, too.),Lowell Baumunk (he's on the
list...if only I had more money...), and MANY others. I might order
from the S's again, but it won't be a big order.
I am glad to see that Thornbird won the DM. I am also VERY glad to
see that anti-SA sentiment didn't run rampant. (So far...I've only got
56 messages left to go.)
My potted irises are receiving water every 2 or 3 days. They are
all in AT LEAST 1/2 shade.
