They were talking about plants that cound be used around a
home that got slat spray from the ocean, one plant that was shown
was a " Russian Iris ". Just one question ... What's a Russian Iris?
Iris setosa, which occurs in Siberia and Alaska/BC and its very close
relative hookerii are often found in maritime conditions along the sea
shore. Alternatively, Iris spuria is also Russian, amongst other
countries, and is frequently found along the edge of saline ponds and
pans.
