Hi everybody, both old & new Listers:
Got a question for all those with experience growing reblooming irises
-- expecially those who've actually had them rebloom! (Not yet true with
any of the ones I've had since '96, darn it.)
Please describe how you "deadhead" your rebloomers. Also, do you snap
off the bloomstalks down close to the plant's crown, the way you would
normally do with oncers after all the buds have finished blooming? If
so, when is it "safe" to do this with rebloomers?
Marte in the mtns Zone 4/Sunset 1 Colorado -- where it got about 90F
today even at my altitude of 7,400'. In the flatlands around Denver, it
was pushing 100. Those who remember the Polar Trek Convention days of
June 4 - 6 may find these temps hard to believe...
