OT-BIO: Donald Mosser

From: Donald Mosser <dmosser@sprintmail.com>

Hello fellow Irisarians,

It's been months since I have actively participated in the former IRIS-L,
due to being preoccupied with life and other gardening pursuits. However,
once I saw John's message "The End of IRIS-L", I sat up and took notice.

Well here's my bio. My name is Donald Mosser and I live in North Augusta,
SC, USA, on the border between Georgia and South Carolina. I garden in
approximately USDA zone 7b-8. Of course this summer I have been gardening
in the "Sahara zone".:)

I have been addicted to irises for approximately 2-3 years. I grow a
variety of irises including bearded, beardless, and several species. As a
result of the generosity of the iris community and the propensity of most
irises to multiply, I now have a healthy iris collection. In the last year
or so I have concentrated on growing the beardless and species irises. I
have had fair to good luck germinating species iris seeds which I obtained
from SIGNA and SPCNI.

My other gardening interest include daylilies, dianthus, old garden roses,
and daffodils, just to name a few. If only my garden was larger and flatter.:)

Hi again to Anne Savannah, John Jones, Linda Mann, and all others from the
Iris Chat. Also hi to Mark Cook and Kathy Guest who are also on the
daylily e-mail robin.

Happy Irising,

Donald Mosser
