CULT: patience with seeds! :)

From: dkramb@tso.cin.ix.net (Dennis Kramb)

Well, I'm a fool. I've heard people say time and again to be patient, but
I didn't listen. After about 3 months of waiting for setosa, graminea, and
lactea seeds to germinate, I got frustrated and assumed nothing was going
to happen. So I planted other flower seeds in the same large pots
(marigolds, etc).

Now that these other flowers are approaching maturity, I noticed what I
thought was grass growing in the flower pots too. WRONG! It's the %!*&#
setosas, gramineas, and lacteas! Can you believe it? Of course you can.

The sad thing is, I no longer recall which species seeds were planted in
which pots. So it will be a year or so until I learn which are the
setosas, which are the gramineas, and which are the lacteas.

Now quit laughing at me! (Like *you* haven't done this before too.)

:)
