I would like to see two iris lists as long as everyone did not feel compelled to
post their current train of thought on both lists. If there are to be two
lists,
may I respectfully suggest that some way to separate the scope of discussion on
each be devised

Personally, I grow weary of the endless parade of bloom and show reports and
long
for that brief interlude when Alaska's bloom season is over and Australia's has
not yet begun. During the off season, there is more focus on cultivation and
these are the posts which attract my attention and keep me subscribed. My
disinterest is primarily rooted in a love of LA's; a group which is poorly
represented in the bloom and show reports. Understand, I recognize that the
bloom
reports are a significant attraction for most and I have heretofore been content
to delete my way through them without comment.

As you will have guessed, I would be delighted if the bloom and show reports,
and
discussion of particular cultivars or medal winners, could handled by one list
and
all that boring other stuff put on another list.

Of course, Tom or his designee would have to agree to keep up Iris-L and there
would need to be much debate about who-does-what.

One persons opinion.
