MTB: Reblooming marvel

Hi Listers,

I just got the most incredible surprise.  I was out digging iris and I lifted
my clump of MERIT (MTB) which I just planted last August.  I was marvelling
over how much increase a single rz had put out(at least 7 nice big increases).
Thank goodness before I started tearing into it I noticed bloom stalks!!  3 of
them!!  I pulled off a couple increases that I had promised to a friend and
plunked the whole clump right back into the ground.

I must say I purchased this iris solely for it's looks.  I had heard it was a
rebloomer but in my zone I always figure "Oh yeah, sure".   What a bonus.  I
recommend this for growers in my zone who never think they will get rebloom.
