Description help, please!

From: Marte Halleck <MorJHalleck@worldnet.att.net>

I've been quiet for the past couple of weeks because I got whacked by an
NVUO: Nasty Virus of Unknown Origin. Most annoying to get sick during
our too-short gardening season! I'm better now, thanks, just 'way behind
in tasks & chores, not to mention fun stuff.

I had planned to help with digging, trimming & tagging plants from the
'98 Conv. Host Gardens but couldn't make it. However, I did get to the
Region 20 iris sale in Denver Sunday & found beaucoup rz I couldn't pass
up (we won't discuss total $$, okay?) I came home with some real
beauties, nearly all intros from '92 to '98 & nearly all TBs tho I did
capture a couple of ABs (Shockey's DESERT FURY [94] & LANCER [95]) & one
each BB (VERY VARIED Ensminger 93) & SDB (see below.)

Walta, if you're out there -- one of the TBs is LEMON CHESS (Moores 96)!
I love it -- a creamy lt. yellow with a golden beard, which will be a
dandy pastel companion for some of the strong-colored blooms I tend to
favor. Oh, & I got TOASTED WATERMELON (Hoage 94) a rosy brown blend with
a red beard that I was crazy about in Lowell Baumunk's garden this June.

Of course I came home with a few rz having incomplete descriptions & I
hope you folks can help me out:

TB: MOTHER'S LITTLE HELPER (Ernst 96) -- saw this at Lowell's also &
remember it as being a vivid yellow orange self. True/false?

TB: RHAPSODY IN BLOOM (Ernst 93) -- believe this is a pink self -- any
other descriptive info appreciated.

TB: RUBAN BLEU (Cayeux, J 97) -- again, saw this at Lowell's, can't
recall it in detail but remember it was "terrific"...

SDB: COMEBACK TRAIL (Nichols 91) -- this is funny because I set my box
down for a few minutes while I made a potty stop & someone else put 2
"bunches" (4 rz ea.) of these in it, presumably by mistake. What the
heck, I like the little guys, too, tho it was a surprise to find them
when I got home. I just wish I knew what color this iris is...

TIA for any help. Nice to be back aboard Iris-talk -- I didn't even make
it to the computer for 5 days & found roughly 250 emails when I finally
got online again. Took awhile to catch up...
