Thanks for the info on MOTHER'S LITTLE HELPER & RHAPSODY IN BLOOM via
Cooley's -- that's one catalog I didn't get my hands on this year!
BTW, welcome to Iris-talk. You wrote:

There's been LOTS of chat about rebloomers in the 14 mos I've been
aboard the List -- you might want to search the archives of Iris-L (&
now Iris-talk): http://www.mallorn.com/lists/iris-l/
In summer '96, I planted a number of both TBs & SDBs that are "known"
rebloomers in Zone 4. However, I garden in the foothills west of Denver
at 7,400' altitude, the temps & conditions are extreme & I am not really
surprised that, to date, nary a rebloom has occured. I'm still hopeful &
am trying to make sure that these particular irises get extra water &
feedings to encourage them.
Many people in milder climates -- & even in areas of Zone 4 where the
weather is not quite so whimsical as it is in the Colorado mtns -- have
reported dependable rebloom. (It is not uncommon in the flatlands of the
Denver area either, but that is Zone 5 which can make a big difference,
& the overall growing season is much longer.) Two dependable RE-TBs that
are often mentioned by gardeners in various zones in the USA are the
white IMMORTALITY (Zurbrigg 82) & the yellow HARVEST OF MEMORIES
(Zurbrigg 85.) Lloyd is one of the gurus of reblooming irises & often
posts to this List, I'm happy to say. But even Lloyd can't do anything
about my too-short growing season!
