<< Many people in milder climates -- & even in areas of Zone 4 where the
weather is not quite so whimsical as it is in the Colorado mtns -- have
reported dependable rebloom. (It is not uncommon in the flatlands of the
Denver area either, but that is Zone 5 which can make a big difference,
& the overall growing season is much longer.) Two dependable RE-TBs that
are often mentioned by gardeners in various zones in the USA are the
white IMMORTALITY (Zurbrigg 82) & the yellow HARVEST OF MEMORIES
(Zurbrigg 85.) Lloyd is one of the gurus of reblooming irises & often
posts to this List, I'm happy to say. But even Lloyd can't do anything
about my too-short growing season! >>

I just received my Aug 98 issue of Better Homes and Gardens which happens to
have an article on reblooming iris featuring Ken and Sue Kremer of Amberway
Gardens of St.Louis. The article is very brief so don't break anything
rushing to the grocery store to get the magazine! The amazing part is you can
order a rebloom collection from BH and G which includes rhizomes for a *mere*
$48.95. Now, of course, that includes shipping. What a fabulous bargain!!
<wink, wink>. This includes IMMORTALITY, HARVEST OF MEMORIES, and 3 others
they will choose for your zone. Trust me, if I could get $48.95 for 5
rhizomes I would be taking out a full page color ad in BH and G!!
