I hope new, healthy growth is pushing some dead growth up and out of the
fan.
However, what I'm seeing is not normal in my experience. The dead leaf is
coming
out of the fan where is has been protected. It appears the problem is in
the fan,
since the outer ones are still green. Watering concerns me since I'm
afraid if
there is dead growth inside, it will start to rot. The rhizome looked
healthy.
