help finding hybridizers in Region 7/24?

From: Linda Mann <lmann@icx.net>

I have been appointed a
committee of one to beg local introductions for the auction at the Fall
(August) Meeting of Region 7 that we are hosting in Knoxville. I am
sending letters to all the hybridizers in our region to see
if they are interested in donating any of their introductions. Only
problem is, I
don't know who they are! I've gotten some names from R&I books, and I
have the 1993 membership directory with addresses, but the most recent
R&I I have is 1996, and I know some of these folks are no longer
hybridizing, have changed addresses etc. Walter Moores and Mark Cook
have helped me some, but I still need a current mailing address for Gary
Sides and am not sure I got everybody who might like to participate.
So, before spending money on a
bunch of long-distance calls, I thought I'd check with all to see if you
can help me out.

I am positive the following people in Region 7 and 24 are or have
recently been hybridizing: Lou Ehrcke, Geraldine and Jack Couturier
(Sunnyridge Gardens), Betty Wilkerson (Bridge in Time Iris Gardens),
William and Mary Grise, James Bingham (Pennyroyal Gardens), Ed Roberts,
Walter Moores, Bill Ginter, Walter Moores, Jimmy Burch, and Mark Cook
(who isnt' really in our region any longer).

I need a current address for Gary Sides.

Do any of you know if these people hybridize: Bill & Joyce Reinke, Bells
TN; Rodney Adams, Louisville KY, Dean & Judith Hunt, Louisville; Bob
Strohman, Louisville; Jim Browne, Memphis; William Vines, Huntington
TN; E.J & Eleanor Boyson, Charlotte TN; Jim and Regena [sp] Crutchfield,
Franklin TN

Bob Strohman used to hybridize, but I think he has switched to
daylilies? Same with the Reinkes?

Are there more hybridizers in our region that I've forgotten?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me with this. I will also
send the final list of hybridizers to editor Julie Allen to include
in the next Irisarian. We need to know who our local hybridizers are
and give them all the encouragement we can to develop more introductions
suited to our interesting climate!
