		4" pots will do. Fill the pot with a mixture of 1/3 sand, 1/3
Sam's Magic Earth (Wal-Mart), and 1/3 garden soil.  Fill to brim with soil
mix and add water.  Push soil down in pot and add more if necessary. 
Remove roots from rhizome, and push rhizome into pot, leaving top half of
the rhizome exposed.  Set in shade, and water pots as needed. Later in
Sept. or Oct. remove plant and rootball and plant in garden.  Larger pots
require too much soil, are heavy to move, and you have to dig a BIG hole
in the garden when you finally unpot. 

		It might be wise to give these rhizomes a clorox bath for
thirty minutes.  One part clorox to 9, 10 parts water.
