Received my iris today also from Denver show, am very impressed.
I'm in Central Texas (Zone 8) and very new to iris growing. We have had 25
or so straight days of 100+ temps with no rain, no relief in heat or drought
in sight.
Watering iris no problem, but with possible occasional lower 20's to upper
teens in the winter and bad growing conditions now, should I plant these
Denver iris in pots until spring or in the ground now? If in pots, what
size?
Plan to do one or the other tomorrow, so please help me decide asap
