Leslie,
You had better watch you iris. These little creatures
will eat them, expecially the LA iris. I have been
battling with them for years. This past year I took
rat poison bricks (my husband does pest conrol) and
put them in the tunnels. Have had no problems till
yesterday and found a new tunnel. Walked it down
first and will return later to see if the little
varmit comes back. I have even been know to dig out
the tunnel and kill it will a gardening tool! May
sound harsh, but who can afford to buy plants only to
let the voles eat them.
