If you particularly like dwarf iris, my best luck (in southern Calif.) has
been with PLUM WINE; also some success with JEWEL BABY and WILLOWMIST. All
are very nice colors, all are rebloomers. Most dwarf iris seem to show
more vigor and bloom if they get a good winter freeze; maybe the rebloomers
in general all less dependant on seasonal triggers.

Many dwarf irises prefer a colder climate than you have, but there are some
that will do better than others for you (anyone have any suggestions for
Linda??).
On the other hand - you have a wide iris palette to choose from; things
like
PCN's (drop dead gorgeous flowers) and iris evansia.
I spent a few days in Solvang several years ago and remember it VERY
fondly.... like being dropped into Denmark... and wonderful shops.
