My first iris bed was planted in 1997 and at the end of the current
bloom period I believe it is necessary to devide the iris. This will
be the first time I have attempted this and have been reading up on
the subject. My question is: After I cut off the new rhizomes,
should I coat the cut surface with anything or just let it heal by
air
drying
