SE is a TB, introduced by Schreiners last year (it was on the cover of
their catalog). I ordered late, and received a small rhizome (atypical
for Schreiners), and did not expect first-year bloom. The flower is
awesome, but there are not many of them. Mine has two increases.
It is in their catalog this year, for $45.
Gerry, who has also had late bloom this year on that most universally
popular of irises, Thornbird
