This happened to me with a bee pod I'd left on a seedling. Same results.
I'm really watching my regular pods now, especially a couple that never quite
seemed to fill out enough. I know I've had good seed out of similar pods in
the past, but you never know until you see the seed. A couple of pods are
changing colors a little, and it's too early.
