Re:SPEC: Spurians

The plant that I grow as I. lactea (from SIGNA seed) does not resemble a spuria.  The falls are much more relaxed, are more consistant in width and not as rounded at the end.  The seed pods are not as fleshy
and are pointed. The seeds are small, black and lack that fleshy seed coat common to the spurias.  The clump is much tighter and the leaves are much thicker in the middle than a similar width spuria leaf.  (In
cross section they look like a double edged knife.) It also grows as tall as my I. spuria although about half that growth occurs after bloom.

Will the real I. lactea please stand up!  : )
