RE: SPEC: Planting Seeds

I ordered some of the SIGNA leftovers (psuedacorus & spuria) and couldn't
resist giving them a jumpstart.

Started soaking the seeds (for a week) as soon as I got them. The easiest
way for me is to pop them into old nylons and weight them with a small
rock. A plastic label goes in with the seeds so there's no mix up and they
all go into glass jars. Water is changed every day.

Being in a hurry, I simply tossed well soaked seeds, rocks and all into a
ziplock bag and popped them into the coldest part of the frig for just over
a month.

Our weather had already started to warm so they were planted out
immediately. In about 2 weeks the psuedacorus were germinating well. Still
waiting on the spurias but since they're in the ground and I don't have to
water any flats, they can take their own sweet time.
