The Louisiana named LITTLE ROCK SKIES is indeed a smaller iris. It only
gets about 2 feet tall, and the foliages is relatively narrow and blue-ish.
Flowers are smaller and in keeping with the smaller foliage. It blooms
nicely above the foliage too.
It has the charm of the species because the parents are all species,
involving I. brevicaulis, I. nelsonii, and the collected cultivar CATHEDRAL
BLUE.
It was registered by Frank Chowning in 1978.
