SPU: Still Seeking Nies Irises

Greetings.

I've posted once to the effect that I am looking for Eric Nies' originations,
but I'm posting once again since, as I said, it is important.

Here is the story. I'm trying to find some of his irises his grandaughter,
and, since I have run into more dead ends than a mouse in a maze and have met
with scant success, I am also trying to find them on general principles.
After all, the top AIS award for Spurias was named for the fellow. As the
50th Anniversary Bulletin of AIS says "Bright shines the name of Eric Nies,
for the 40's was a decade of development for a whole new concept of
spurias.."

If you have any Nies spurias, or know someone who does, please give me a
whistle at HIPSource@aol.com.
