Just a note to say that San Joaquin iris society is hosting Region 14
for this coming 2001 spring regional. We have chosen as our speaker a
dynamic person who has taken the local garden club from a failing 30
members to over 700+ in 4 years time. She is a fantastic motivader,
speaker and all round encourager of all things GARDEN!! Since our club
numbers are not growing and we realized that this is a nation wide
delema we felt Renee Newell would be just the thing we need (even if
Region 14 is the largest region) to give us all ideas and
encouragement. She speaks on the national level and would be an asset
to anyones program. Lorraine in Modesto California, where the Delta
breezes have kicked in and put an end to several days of triple digit
heat!!
