Do you know anything about true reds. I saw a picture of a red named Dare, looked like Santa Claus red for lack of another description. Could it really be that red most aren't.I live in zone 7.

Nor, MIDNIGHT OIL or ANVIL OF DARKNESS. What are the good
growing blacks? TOM JOHNSON was not black to my eyes, and its beard
was yellow and not red as listed in an earlier post on this thread.
