Re: CULT: Lantana juice?polk weed, blenders and wives

I don't have much knowlege to contribute to lantana juice project except if 
you are gonna squeeze the juice you might aughta let it ferment. If it don't 
work on the hoppers you could still make good use of it. Tried a similar 
project with poke salad (polk weed to Yankees) once. Me havin' read all them 
wives tales about poison and all. Figgered if it 'ud kill a man it 'ud sure 
nuf kill bugs. So I dug some roots and added a right smart of the berries for 
good measure. Stuck em all in the blender and let everything race around fer 
a pretty good while. Done this several times till I had me about a gallon of 
juice. Then I sprayed, unstopped the sprayer a bunch and kept on sprayin.

The results on critters was kinda' inconclusive accordin' to the way them 
professors talk. But the absolute conclusive results were that iris foliage 
sprayed this way is a really purdy purple all the way to the top and the only 
thing worse than grit in yore teeth is grit in yore wife's blender.
