Donald,
That's a good question, the only terms that I know
are open, closed, and domed standards. Tight standards
are the ones that are wrapped tight and you have to
unwrap them to get any pollen in them the first day or two.
You've taken your descriptions to a new level,
Dunce cap, perpendicular, closed arching, open arching,
open semi-arching are good descriptions and would help
some people and confuse others, especially if you're
still trying to figure out what a standard is.
