Why, just as I ws boasting about my ARCTIC WARRIOR, I
get upstaged by a modest little fellow who I found
budded, tucked in low amongst the santolina and
lavender of the front (east) bank: Iris Pallida
Variegata. He's got a few friends too, all the same
stripe, and still budded as well as blooming in their
little orange bearded, purple faced flowers, a bit
like a strangled scotchman.
(I can make that joke, being one. Sae nae wheening!)
