Hello everyone:
I've followed the conversation thread about the most
disappointing / worst performing iris for some time
now and find it fascinating. I could probably add a
few to that list myself....
However, it's getting a little depressing! Such a
large list of "cannot gow, does not perform"!
So I suggest this question: what are your BEST
performing iris? This is the criteria I propose:
a. Must be iron tough- no major problems with
bugs/disease
b. Must bloom. Often and well.
c. Must increase healthily and not "bloom out".
d. Mus look attractive, (duh!)
In my case I'd put in plugs for Pallida Variegata,
ARCTIC WARRIOR, BATIK, QUAKEER LADY, and TENNESSEE
WOMAN, (which always reminds me of a Neil Diamond
song....)
