We have that situation now with FIREBEARD (Sutton 01) and COCONUT ICE (Blyth
00). Both had seedpods starting to split before the current stalk opened.
FIREBEARD Is listed as RE but COCONUT ICE is not.

Everbloomers such as PURE AS GOLD and STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN will stay in bloom
all year in the right climate. I don't know what your particular climate is
but this might not be suitable when they try to bloom in the snow!
Varieties that stay in bloom for longer time might be better for you. If you
could translate your weather to a similar USDA Zone there will be people on
this list would could recommend some for you. I am in Zone 9b which means
temperatures stay above 10 C. AFTERNOON DELGHT, APOLLO ONE and DANTE'S
INFERNO all stay in bloom for 4-6 weeks;
