Re: RE:ADMIN - subject tags

I absolutely hate it when the list degenerates into namecalling and fingerpointing.
Subject tags, and this subject has been beaten to death several times I might add,
are for the purpose of those who want to be able to judge the content of an iris
talk email without opening and reading it. With over 600 members and no rules,
I can only imagine the result of no rules...26 daily messages about cats, 13 about 
Aunt Emma's lumbago, etc.  I have been a member almost since conception of the 
list at Rt. 66, and there have been many who have left just because of the volume
of messages. I fall back to the basic question...if is is important enough to say, isn't 
it important enough to take just one second for the subject line? Or maybe not. 
I may be too left brained to get it too. With the current world issues facing us here, 
neither irises OR subject tags warrant the emotion and bandwidth. But that is only
my opinion, I could be wrong. <G>

  I think the whole thing stinks! You are obsessed with subject tags which makes one feel very uncomfortable when trying to post a very simple message. 

  Don't you have anything else to do in your life than to be controlling. I have been following this subject for months and whenever someone doesn't follow the format when posting, you junp in with your instructions on how to post.

  Why can't posting be very simple and easy without having to stop and run down the list for the proper tags to use. Who cares besides you? 

  I feel this is what happens to one's brain when one is so very left brained. I think they call that part of the brain, "The computer nerd".

  Relax and make life easier for us all to be able to just post a simple question.
