Walter, I didn't know that Verbena Bud Moths went after TB pods also. I suspect it may be too late to help this year's crop, but I'll spray next year for shure.

Check pp. 354-355 of TWOI.
I used to have problems with the Verbena Bud Moth when I
lived in Ft. Worth. It is a pod borer. I would periodically spray my
pods with any general garden spray while they were developing.
Thank goodness, we don't have them here, or they've found other
things to invade.
