The moisture found at the "v" where the stigma and style-crest join.  Also, 
the food of humming birds (not on iris<g>) and other creatures of nature. The 
term may date me and could even give away my demographics at birth; however, 
it is still a term that comes naturally to me.  You are so correct . . . the 
dew does it!
