John: You are right about meeting other i-t people at conventions. One of the things I enjoyed especially about the recent AIS convention in Memphis was recognizing names of other i-t members and then meeting the people behind the names. Kind of strange, making a friend of those I already thought of as friends, but the "in-person" fun was doubled by the fact that I already recognized the names. Now I know the faces, and when I see messages from several of you I can "see" you talking. So nice. Another good reason to go to national and regional conventions if you ever have the opportunity and can afford it.
