Ya - Ya, Doris, I know 5 Tblsp. = 1/4 C. - been cooki'n for at least 55 yrs.! 
 (You really ARE pretty funny!....:-)   Now this proportioner business is new 
to this old lady - I'll probably have to drive to Portland (3 hrs.) to find 
one; I'll try Bend first.  And the maggot thing - just thrown in as a sort of 
"yoke"....:-)  Guess I should `qualify' and tell you I'm a farm girl from 
Montana...but Armadillos?  The closest I've ever come to that is Badgers - 
vicious critters especially when cornered.  All I have here are deer (who are 
really pissed because the 8' fence cut off their Kings Table), a very few 
rabbits for Coyote food, Quail, Morning Doves, a very few gophers that are 
hunted down & trapped by an old neighbor, and stray critters (like Donald's) 
that are dumped - which is how I got my beautiful and fantastic Maggie, 
German Shephard, who spent 5 days & nights with no water or food across & up 
the road - so starved & dehydrated from the terrible end of July heat (2 yrs. 
ago) that it took me most of a month to get her going again - she wasn't even 
a yr. old - and what a precious gift she is.  Re. the pound discussion, we 
have to PAY to take them there - my 22 Pistol has had a lot of use.  The idea 
of the County PAYING a few dollars for strays is a good one; I'm sure 
homeowners wouldn't mind another few tax dollars a year to cover this expense 
if it would solve the stray problem.  My mail lady found 5 pups stuffed into 
a culvert!  Those of us who are responsible try to find homes for them, which 
exacerbates the irresponsibility of others.
       As I've only tried the FE here this year on the iris, but have 
previously used it on an assortment of plants; I'm anxious to see the 
results.  Guess you know you have just spoiled my "Don't you all feel sorry 
for Grandma's butt bustin bucket brigade."???
