Hello Folks,
One of the best, most extensive and most informative threads ever from this
group was on solarization. Beginning with a query in January 1997 by John
Jones, the thread meandered through the first six months of the year. There
is a LOT of good info on this subject in those threads. The effects, the
means, the methods and the results. Preferences of those using either clear
or black plastic and why occurs in the threads. If you are interested and
want to take the time to search them, try the keyword 'solarization' and
search in 1997. I use the Mallorn archives. I don't know whether this is
in Yahoo or not. I think it took place under the old Iris-L list on Mallorn
before it moved to Yahoo Groups.
