The best way, in fact sometimes the only way, is to ask the online groups or
post an ad in the AIS Bulletin. New people join all the time, so there's
always a chance that an iris will turn up even after being "lost" for years.

Even if an iris is no longer available commercially it can sometimes be
found growing in someone's garden.
