HYB:SDB:TB: seed count?


Two pods on an SDB X TB cross have just matured.  This is the first SDB
X TB cross I've made.  One pod had 11 normal looking seeds, the other 5,
plus each had 2 or 3 partially developed seeds.

Is this typical for SDB X TB?  Are the 16 normal looking seeds all
likely to be viable?

For those who have crossed their own seedling IBs with TBs, have you
seen any relationship between the fertility of the original SDB X TB
cross and subsequent fertility of IB babies?  In other words, is an SDB
X TB pod with a few seeds more likely or less likely to produce fertile
IB babies than a pod with a lot of seeds?

Counting chickens long, long before they hatch...
