Man you better string up a temporary fence. I know this is such an old
subject people are sick of hearing it. But you think you have it under control and
then wham! there they are again.
Now looking at the sibs and Japs that are blooming they look relatively
healthy and so maybe i did put it on too late, beginning of april, which would be
just fine for the sibs etc.
I wrote to Bill Shear about this and he never responded to the continum life
cycle theory . His book was done so he must have moved on.
I have about a quarter acre in iris. so they ( borers moths) know where to
go. But I haven't met an iris I haven't loved for some reason or another. Like
pruple pepper and allthose little tiny dots. How does that know to make dots
and thentea leaves be so delicately orchid on those green taupe fallls?
i planted tea leaves, thornbird, sky hooks and another that is yellow with
pruple horns. They look so cool together.
